Conversation with Paul Stanford

Few activists have been involved with cannabis legalization longer than Paul Stanford, who worked with Jack Herer and Gatewood Galbraith in the early days of the hemp movement. After Oregon installed one of the most enlightened medical marijuana laws in the country, Stanford created a multimillion dollar company servicing the medical community, one that has recently gone public. Stanford stopped by the New York offices of Abakus and was impressed enough with our debut issue that he agreed to become publisher. He also spoke about his close relationship with pot icon Willie Nelson.
